The 5 photos are of a piece in Takapuna on Aucklands North Shore, made from wood and iron salvaged from an old factory, the details on the sculpture reference Tiritiri Matangi Island, it’s Kokako and Saddleback re-population, it’s place in myth and translation of it’s name. It was made in collaboration with Richard Beckett in 2011.

While staying with my Grandma in July 2010, a made this sculpture for her garden, it was created as a tribute to my Grandfather, Hamilton Skelton Yarnton Mills.
